Keith Reinhard talks 'Creativity 3.0'

DDB Worldwide's chairman emeritus reflects on his career and talks about the "ultimate revelation" of advertising

NEW YORK - Speaking exclusively to Campaign US, Keith Reinhard, co-founder of Omnicom and chairman emeritus of DDB Worldwide, discussed how the industry has changed over the past fifty years and where its future lies.

He described the next phase of advertising as "the ultimate revelation" and "creativity 3.0". However, advertisers should be aware that with all the new tools avaialable today, the basic human instinct – to suceed, to be loved, to take of one's own – has not changed.

"What doesn’t change is the need to create an idea that connects the brand with that basic human drive," he said.
