Jet.com puts a price on friends for the gift-giving season

The "Careculator" analyzes Facebook activity to calculate how much people are worth.

Who says you can't put a price on friendship? And family too? Jet.com launched a humorous holiday campaign this week that encourages people to "spend less on the people you love" with an online tool that puts a price tag on relationships based on the affection displayed online. The Facebook-enabled "Careculator" determines how much a person "is worth" by analyzing likes and comments to posts and suggests gift options in that price range from Jet.com. The campaign, created by RGA, includes digital video, banner ads and out-of-home.
