Jamie Lindsay: exits Amscreen after three years

Amscreen is on the hunt for a new managing director following the exit of Jamie Lindsay amid a restructure at the outdoor digital specialist.

A review of Amscreen Media Sales division will result in the division being run as a standalone entity; a brand relaunch; reorganisation of the management team and functions and; exploring options to bring in new investment.

Lindsay is moving on after three years "to pursue new business initiatives", at the end of May.

Prior to Amscreen, Lindsay worked at in-flight media specialist Brand Connections Global and before that led a 60-strong sales force at JCDecaux. He started his career at Carat, the Dentsu Aegis media agency.

He said: "I would like to thank all of the team at Amscreen especially Tom and Simon for their continued support and encouragement in the last three years. Amscreen has an outstanding product and has a great future. The time for me is right to move to my new ventures and I wish everyone the success it deserves."

Amscreen has hired Andrew Oldham as interim managing director to oversee the restructure.

Amscreen's audience assured advertising (AAA) packages launched last year allow brands to target four key demographics using OptimEyes technology. OptimEyes data, taken from the screens, allows viewer data to be analysed to ensure each campaign delivers the volume of audience purchased.

Face detection software in each of Amscreen's screens captures and reports individual site by site data in real-time, including viewers by site, age and gender breakdown; overall demographic based counts; conversion ratios and averages by site/hour.

Brands can target one of four key demographics: all adults, men, 15-34, 35-64 or build a bespoke audience package based on audience type, location and time of day. The platform enables advertisers and Amscreen to work together to ensure that brands only pay for the audience that they wish to reach.

Broadcaster Fox is currently promoting its portfolio of channels via Amscreen’s outdoor properties to target key segments in real time for shows such as the new series of Car SOS (on National Geographic Channel) and the mini crime series Wayward Pines (Fox), which stars Matt Dillon (pictured) and Juliette Lewis.
