Campaign named Adam & Eve/DDB advertising agency of the year for the third year in a row. Mat Goff, the Omnicom shop's recently promoted co-chief executive, described it as a fantastic year that included "winning new business... and lots of effectiveness awards", as well as opening a new office in New York.
Dan Brooke, the chief marketing and ccommunications officer at Channel 4, described winning Campaign of the Year as "like receiving an award from God", because Campaign is regarded as the industry bible.
The worldwide chief executive of PHD, which claimed Network of the Year, Mike Cooper said: "We're beyond over the moon. We're over Mars."
