Isobar has promoted Fred Saldanha to the newly created role of CCO for the Americas.
Saldanha, who has held the role of CCO at Isobar Brazil for the past three years, will remain based at the agency’s Sao Paulo office. He reports into regional leadership, including the US co-CEOs Jeff Maling and Geoff Cubitt and Isobar Brazil CEO Abel Reis.
His remit has been expanded to oversee the US market, leading the creative vision across its five US offices: New York; Chicago; Boston; Detroit and Denver.
"Appointing one chief creative officer across the Americas reflects our belief that in the digital world, traditional borders are really a thing of the past," said Jean Lin, global CEO, Isobar in a statement.
"In fact, cross-cultural insight and global thinking is at the core of success in the brand commerce era, where technology recognizes no barriers," Lin said.
Saldanha is behind Isobar's Fiat Live Store work, which a is virtual test drive experience that won an Innovation Lion at Cannes last year. Before Isobar, Saldanha worked at Ogilvy Brazil for more than five years.
