UBM's debut outdoor exhibition IOEX has revealed its seminar programme, which will be taking place from 6-8 March at Excel London.

Planning to cover the entire outdoor event sector, the programme will feature high profile figures from sports, festivals and other national outdoor events.

Mark Gordon, sales director for IOEX said: "The seminar programme has been designed around the issues picked up on in IOEX’s industry investment survey with overriding themes including how to use emerging technologies in the different sectors, case studies showcasing solutions to common problems such as contingency planning and interactive sessions with dedicated networking afterwards."

Seminars will include Building projection – make the world move’ where established digital agencies, including Pod Bluman from Bluman Associates, Ross Ashton from Projection Studio and Brad Alexander from LCI Production share their top tips on how to use cutting edge building projection, while ‘How to ensure you carry on the conversation hears from experiential and social media experts such as The Circle Agency’s Winston Murray discussing how to give events and brands a strong presence in the realms of social media.

For venues and suppliers looking to maximise their event tenacity Beyond the core invites attendees to learn from Elliott Moore of Brighton’s Amex Community Stadium about how to extend a venue’s appeal into new event verticals, while an international element will be added by Joe O’Neill from the Arena Group and Lisa Ryan from EFM whowill be focusing on themes including branding continuity, crossing customs, laws and regulations and the debate on using local suppliers or taking your trusted people with you.

There will also be session on cashless payments at festivals, which is currrently one of the hottest subject in the outdoor sector; one on transforming estates in event spaces; and safety at event shows.

On the final day of the show, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the latest technology available for outoor events, the role of event sponsorship, and how families are factored into the event organising mix, which will see Carrie Longton of Mumsnet speaking.

Taking place alongside International Confex, IOEX has been created to provide a face to face platform for anyone involved in the outdoor event sector.
