Keane will be responsible for the digital creative output for the Ford of Europe business, working with Imagination’s David Girling, group board director and business head of Ford EMEA, and Chris Beckles, European creative director.
Having previously worked on a number of campaigns for clients such as Shell, HSBC and Kitkat, he has joined the agency from JWT, where he was previously senior digital creative designer. Prior to this he held positions at CHI & Partners and Skive.
Girling said: "It is great to have James on board. He is a very talented digital designer and we look forward to him making a big contribution to our work with Ford in Europe."
Keane added: "I am really pleased to have joined Imagination where I can apply my creative skills across a broad range of experiential and digital projects. It’s fantastic to be part of a large creatively-led business."
The news comes after Imagination announced the hire of Robin Smith, creative head of its Middle East North Africa region, earlier this month.
