Hill's heartwarming animated film raises awareness for pet nutrition

Up to 60% of pets end up overweight, which brings health complications -- just as it does in humans

Pet food brand Hill’s wants to educate pet owners to get their furry friends in shape with a healthier diet. The full-funnel campaign by VMLY&R includes a tear-jerking two-minute film, Poochini: A Love Story, that follows an elderly woman who lost her husband to obesity and found love again with a dog. When her dog also starts to gain weight, she feeds him -- you guessed it -- Hill’s, and he gets back in shape. The film is complemented with a 30-second spot featuring the similar story of a girl and her cat, for all you feline lovers out there.
