Heineken is staging its Holland Heineken House concept for the Summer Olympic Games in Rio, which will see the brand offering a range of hospitality and entertainment options to fans.

The Holland Heineken House, the beer brand's main activation at this year's Games, will be located in the Leblon district of Rio. The venue offers nearly 100,000 sq ft of facilities and activities for fans searching for a festive environment to enjoy and celebrate the spirit of the Games.

Hans Erik Tujit, global Heineken director of sponsorship at Heineken International, said: "It’s not just the best night out at the Olympics. As well as a great party with medal winners in the evening, new this year the House will offer various restaurants and food vendors, a swimming pool and beach volleyball court, sport trivia and competitions, clinics and boot camps with Dutch Olympians and much more. There will be no better place in Rio to catch the Olympic action by day, and celebrate athlete successes into the night."

The House is the official, national house of the Netherlands and is hosted by the NOC*NSF (Netherlands Olympic Committee). Rio 2016 is the 13th time in succession Heineken and the NOC*NSF have brought the House to the Olympic Games.

The Holland Heineken House will be open every day from 4-21 August, from 11am-1am, with fans being encouraged to buy tickets online before arrival.

Heineken announced plans earlier this month to invest further in experiential, which will see the brand hosting a series of one-day festivals across Australia, as part of its 'Open your World' and 'cities platform' campaign.
