Hearst Magazines appoints Becky Gee as strategic partnerships director

Becky Gee, the publisher at Red, the Hearst Magazines UK title, has taken on the new role of strategic partnerships director at the publisher.

Gee’s remit will include driving new commercial partnerships, developing sponsorship opportunities and revenue streams for Hearst’s events arm.

She will report to Ella Dolphin, the group commercial director.

Gee joined Red in August last year. Before this she was the strategic director for fashion and retail at Grazia, the Bauer Media brand.

Dolphin said: "Becky is a brilliant operator, highly respected and has done an excellent job of developing a series of live events for the Red brand to appeal to its audience of smart, upscale women.

"As we continue to look for growth, she will apply her skills and experience across Hearst’s portfolio of brands to develop opportunities through new strategic partnerships."
