Habitat: celebrating its new lighting collection with pop-up experience

Retailer Habitat is transforming its central London store into a pop-up 'light club' for one night only.

The event aims to celebrate the launch of Habitat's new AW16 lighting collection, and will see the retailer turning the basement of its flagship Tottenham Court Road store into a Light Club for a one-night-only event of dancing, DJing and lighting.

Taking place for two hours on 27 October, the Light Club will include dynamic lighting displays on the dance floor with new and iconic Habitat designs, a two-hour DJ set by Crucial & Fresh with choreographed dance routines, alongside cocktails from London pop-up chef Jimmy Garcia.

Light clubbers will also be able to snap up lighting designs with huge discounts off selected designs availabe on the night. Entry to the Light Club is free and will include drinks and canapés.

In 2014, the retailer hosted a Scandinavian-themed design and culture exhibition at its King's Road store. This week, Ikea is running an immersive dining experience in Shoreditch in London.
