Guests packed into the newly refurbished venue for an evening of champagne, canapés and entertainment.

Formerly known as The New Connaught Rooms, the venue went into administration at the start of this year following the collapse of parent company The Real Hotel Company.
It was acquired by European hotel and conference group Principal Hayley in June, and has since undergone a £7m refurbishment programme to return it to its former glory.
