Around 360 VIP guests enjoyed a champagne reception in the Drawing Room followed by dinner in the Grand Hall, both of which had been decorated with displays made entirely from recycled copies of Elle.

Quintessentially Events was appointed to produce the entire evening, held in association with Next.
The ceremony was hosted by Elle editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy and designer Henry Holland.
The duo introduced 15 award categories including Best Actress (Carey Mulligan), Model (Claudia Schiffer), TV Star (Dannii Minogue) and Outstanding Contribution (Naomi Campbell).
After the ceremony guests moved back upstairs for the after show party, where they were entertained by The Hot Rats, a cover band fronted by Supergrass duo Danny Goffey and Gaz Coombes.
