Google Expeditions and Kidzania partner for pop-up event

Children's entertainment brand Kidzania and Google Expeditions have teamed up to stage a pop-up in Westfield London.

Guests were able to use Google glasses to explore the area, and see sights such as Machu Picchu, Antarctica and the International Space Station.

The event took place on 17-18 February, during half term in the UK.

Children were also able to explore more than 60 real-life activities, and get a taste of what it's like to work in a bank, on the stage or as a police officer.

The activity aimed to give children an idea of what it's like to be independent, and get to know a world of opportunities while thinking about what they might want to do in the future.

Earlier this month, Google and Manchester City Football Club teamed up to stage a Hackathon event. Also in February, Westfield London and the London College of Fashion's Innovation Agency came together to create a platform for UK-based creative talent.
