The Stars by Stella Artois creation is comprised of lights that are designed to represent stars and reference the brand's heritage - the beverage is in fact named after a star.
It aims to provide those residing in the cities of New York and Buenos Aires with a glimpse of the 'stars' – an experience that is often difficult to master in the bustling metropolises.
The installation was unveiled during a concert with artist John Legend within the Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York, which housed the experience, last Wednesday (9 December). It was open to the public from Thursday (10 December) through to Saturday (12 December).
Consumers were invited to RSVP to the experience via the Stella Artois website, and they were encouraged to retweet the AB InBev brand’s 'Under the Stars' Twitter post between 30 November and 2 December for a chance to attend the launch event.
The installation will be available to experience at Caoba 1064, Shed of La Boca, Caba in Buenos Aires from Friday (18 December), where it will remain for two days. Spaces to the event are still available, and can be secured via the brand’s Argentinean website.
The beer brand has teamed up with Legend to release a holiday single named Under the Stars, which has been gifted to America as a part of the aforementioned Christmas campaign.
Legend said: "I've always been fascinated by space exploration, so being able to pair that interest with my passion for music makes this collaboration with Stella Artois such a special one.
"The sound of stars is ethereal and has this dreamy vibe, which inspired 'Under the Stars,' a song about spreading love and togetherness during the holiday season. I couldn't think of a better way to gift my fans this year."
