The Boulangerie Bleue experience aims to transport visitors to the French Riviera, with the finest French food, cocktails and music on offer. Guests can visit an intimate martini cocktail bar or ask a world-renowned bartender to prepare a Grey Goose Le Grand Fizz, to be paired with French breads and pastries made with wheat harvested in Picardie, France. The pop-up series officially launched in June with an event in New York.
The Calgary event is taking place tomorrow and Friday (4 and 5 August), with the Vancouver pop-up being held from 9-10 August.
The Calgary event follows Boulangerie Bleue's debut in Canada in July, with two events, one held in Toronto at the Island Yacht Club, decked out in blue and white for the event and the other in Montreal. Food on offer at the Toronto event included baguettes and cuisine inspired by Grey Goose vodka courtesy of renowned chef Jamie Kennedy, with Grey Goose's Grand Fizz cocktails the drink of choice.
Other touches at the Toronto event included cheese and charcuterie, a late-night crèpe station, private martini tastings in a camionette, and playtime with remote-controlled boats in a pool.
Other stops in Europe include Sotogrande in Spain, Los Angeles in the US, Munich in Germany and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
