Girls and computers don't mix in hilarious and sexist Girls Who Code campaign

McCann NY takes silly arguments to the extreme in online video series

There are many reasons why girls can’t code. Girl problems often prevent proper programming technique, and a new campaign from McCann NY for Girls Who Code illuminates a few of the "very real" issues. Whether hampered by constant periods, or weighed down by boobs or just being stunningly attractive, ladies and computers don’t mix. The tone of the videos, while absurd and darkly deadpan, doesn’t stray far from actual reasons given for why girls shouldn’t code. Three 30- and 45-second spots focusing on a single issue — as well as a 60-second compilation spot — are online now.
