General Electric acknowledges its work doesn't matter to people in BBDO campaign

BBDO cuts right to the chase in this blunt yet touching campaign for General Electric. The ads play on the reality that GE’s work simply doesn’t matter to a lot of people, and at the same time reinforces the company’s technological advancements and impact on the world in three key areas of aviation, healthcare and power. The campaign, "What Matters," pushes the slogan: "Technology is how we do things. People are why we do things." Four commercials, including a 60-second anthem spot and three dedicated 30-second spots, will run during NBC’s broadcast of the Winter Olympic Games.
