Organisers have taken this decision to accommodate more exhibitors and new features for the second outing of the show, which is based on the popular Channel Five television programme.
It means that next year it will have capacity for more than 50,000 visitors and remain open for an extra day, while also introducing feature areas such as the Future Tech Zone, Outdoor Zone, Gadget Show Build Museum and Photographic Workshop Theatre.
There will also be a taste of the television show, with live on-stage challenges and appearances from presenters Suzi Perry, Jason Bradbury, Ortis Deley and Jon Bentley.
Matt Hodgins, Upper Street Events event director of The Gadget Show Live, said: "There was an incredible £385 spent on average per head in 2009 on gadgets, so we expect a lot of electronics shopping to happen in 2010."
