A futile hunt for Carl's Jr. pretzel sandwiches on the street of NYC

Annoyed street vendors can't help in 72andSunny spot

New York City’s street vendors can’t catch a break. Some weird kid wants a giant pretzel with sausage, cheese and egg, much to their consternation in a new spot for Carl’s Jr. from 72andSunny. No supermodels chow down on the Pretzel Breakfast Sandwich, a gustatory partnership with Auntie Anne’s, which supplies the soft pretzels for the restaurant and its sister chain Hardee’s. Eschewing slo-mo and cleavage, the 30-second spot consists of man-on-the-street type confrontations with vendors who insist such an odd combination of foods can’t be found anywhere. The spot is online now and debuts on national TV April 25.
