With London's most famous annual horticultural event on the way, Event takes a look at restaurants which have crafted floral-inspired menus for Chelsea Flower Show.

The Dorchester Floral Afternoon Tea

Housed in a special dining room in the Ranelagh Gardens, The Dorchester has teamed with Laurent-Perrier to create a bespoke menu for the Chelsea Flower Show. Head pastry chef, David Girard and designer florist, Philip Hammond have collaborated to produce a selection of unusual treats, from the Garden Basket - a chocolate cake decorated with edible flowers and chocolate ladybirds, to the Premise of a Gardener, which combines lime, white chocolate and strawberries in a flower pot.

The Landmark Afternoon Tea

The Landmark is offering a Chelsea Flower Show inspired afternoon tea at its Winter Garden restaurant set beneath an eight storey atrium. The seasonal menu will offer sandwiches and scones and a variety of floral-based desserts from orange blossom cheesecake and elderflower posset to rosewater chocolate tart and jasmine opera cake. An additional limited-edition floral cupcake will be on offer to celebrate the Royal Garden Hotel’s 50th birthday.
