Do feed the birds: Danish bakery creates baking snack for ducks

Kwak: the healthy and tasty snack for ducks

Danish bakery Fiktiv has launched a baked snack designed specifically for ducks, swans and geese.

Created by branding agency Identica, Kwak has been launched to help combat the problem of feeding ducks bread and other starchy food, which can be harmful.

Instead, the snack, which is shaped just like bread and comes in a variety of styles such as plain, brioche and sourdough, is nutritional for the animals and birds.

Any uneaten Kwak completely dissolves into a fine powder when it is in the water, making it appealing to fish.

Lily Pond, Identica's account director, said: "It was important to us to capture the timeless pleasure of feeding the ducks, something that we’ve all done, in how we created this brand, but make sure we brought it bang up to date."
