Falling trees prove formidable foes for NBA stars in State Farm spot

Los Angeles Clippers teammates DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul can defend their territory on the court; they can even dominate in a basketball video game. But they are powerless against falling trees on CP3’s lawn. Who doesn’t cringe when a Land Rover is crushed by two pine trees? The players’ State Farm agent. In this 30-second ad, Translation uses humor to easily communicate the complicated world of insurance. The spot, which mimics the previous film featuring Green Bay Packers teammates Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews, will run on TV, radio, digital and social media through the end of the NBA playoffs in May/June 2017.
