Event production agency Inca Productions will produce the official venue, which consists of three show platforms for more than 26 of New York's menswear designers, including Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and Rag & Bone.
The new biannual fashion week event, launched by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to showcase men's fashion, will take place at Skylight Clarkson Square in west Soho from 13-16 July.
Inca has a number of clients in the fashion industry, including Anya Hindmarch, Chanel, Gareth Pugh and Gieves & Hawkes. It also produces the British Fashion Awards on behalf of the British Fashion Council.
Nina Ferguson, chief executive of Inca Productions, said: "We are very honoured to be working with the CFDA on this inaugural event. It has been very exciting to be part of the growth of London Collection: Men and we look forward to working with the CFDA on this outstanding list of talented American designers."
Steven Kolb, chief executive of the CFDA, added: "We are pleased to work with Inca Productions on New York Fashion Week: Men’s. American menswear has never been stronger or more creative.
"There are many reasons the CFDA is launching New York Fashion Week: Men’s. It gives the designers a business platform to show during their market dates and is an opportunity to demonstrate the collective talent of an important segment of our industry.
"The effort to create standalone men’s shows is not just backed by the CFDA and participating designers, but also by the American editors and retailers who have contributed as we have built this, and they will continue to be involved in our planning."
Last week the British Fashion Council announced that London Fashion Weekend will move to the Saatchi Gallery, which follows the news that London Fashion Week will re-locate to Brewer Street Car Park in Soho.
