Brand experience agency RT Marketing has been appointed by The Coca-Cola Company to work on three major global sporting events, including the Rugby World Cup 2015.

RT Marketing has been chosen to create, manage and deliver event and hospitality production services for Coca-Cola during the Rugby World Cup 2015 in London and Cardiff, UEFA EURO 2016 in Paris and the Rio Olympic Games in 2016.

The Richmond-based agency previously delivered Coca-Cola activations for the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, as well as in São Paulo and Rio De Janeiro for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Ben Rodber, director of RT Marketing, told Event: "The re-appointment by Coca-Cola is a great reward for our team that has been working with the brand since 2011. We are thrilled to be working in London, Paris and Rio over the next 18 months. Each event is as uniquely different and the cities and sports themselves will challenge us to create compelling hospitality experiences that deliver maximum impact for our client."

Talking about the agency, Rodber added: "The last six months have seen us win new clients such as SEGRO and Pegasystems and continue our long standing relationships with Investec Plc, Intralinks, Knight Frank, The Rugby Football Union, Genworth Financial and Premier Rugby. We are on target to increase our revenues by 19% for our current financial year and the outlook for the future is both bright and exciting."

Events agency TBA has won a multi-million-pound contract with global sports and media company IMG, on behalf of the Rugby World Cup.

Meanwhile, Coca-Cola is hosting a pop-up bar in London this week to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its 'Contour bottle'
