Wearables and the ties that bind fans to brands
Hosted by mobile technologist company Urban Airship, this session on wearables will examine new examples of wearable tech, as well as those on the horizon. Brands will also get to explore how to get closer to customers and learn how building a campaign platform may be better than searching for one.

The Pulse of Cannes
An immersive experience in itself, Lightwave and Mindshare will join forces to take delegates on an audio/visual journey powered by biometrics (and featuring a special guest DJ). Guests will be asked to download Lightwave Pulse onto their iPhones to get involved, with the results of the experiment unveiled near the end of the week.

The Creative Realities of Virtual Reality
Framestore director David Mellor will talk about the creative opportunities and limitations of virtual reality, which, he argues, is still an undefined medium. He will be joined by Jay Zasa, executive creative director of R/GA and discuss how to establish an innovative approach to creating human experiences, and how to assemble the right team to do this.

Music & Branding Moving at "The Speed of Culture"
Lars Ulrich, the drummer and co-founder of Metallica, will be joined on stage by marketers to discuss brands' roles in sponsoring music tours through experiential, media, advertising and social. The event promises to uncover the secrets to successfully execute a music programme that delivers the optimum ROI.

Green Tastes Like Lemon Ice Cream: Branding and Senses
Lewis Robbins, associate strategist at Jack Morton Worldwide will explain how the physical world has an unconscious effect on how we think, feel and behave towards brands. He will also highlight three critical drivers needed to create a multisensory brand experience.

The Rise of Smart Spaces
Hosted by Soda as part of Cannes' Independent Agency Day, this forum will discuss how experiential can merge with digital. Three agencies will explain how they get people to interact with brands, cities, art and data through the creation of 'smart spaces', which blend storytelling with architecture, design and technology.
