Pepsi Max enlisted loop artist Super Tall Paul to deliver unique music experiences to customers at a KFC drive-thru in Reading last week.

For every customer who requested a Pepsi Max with their order, Super Tall Paul mixed it to create an individually tailored drive-thru jam.

When customers drove through to collect their meal, the artist surprised them with the performance, which was accompanied by disco lights, instruments, a sound system and even bubbles.

Pepsi Max used a series of hidden cameras to capture the reactions of customers as Super Tall Paul took their orders, sampled them and then played them back to them in song.

Agency AMV BBDO was involved with the stunt, leading on production.

The one-day stunt forms part of Pepsi Max’s content-focused and socially-led Genius campaign, which saw the brand launch its ‘Drone Football’ and 'twisted genius' experiences in April.
