Designed to promote O2’s partnership with England Rugby, the event made use of 68 projectors and more than 122 moving head light fixtures to create a number of 3D illusions. O2 claims the show, which was executed by Projection Artworks, could be seen from space.
The stunt kicked off a seven-week long activation from the brand. Rugby fans' tweets of support will be projected onto the roof of the stadium, which will be lit up from sunset to midnight throughout the Rugby World Cup.
O2 promises that the venue will 'come alive' each time England plays, plus there are more surprises planned throughout September and October.
