Event Oracle has won the contract to provide a pop-up restaurant at a Mayfair antiques event.

For the second year running, the catering and events planner has won the contract for art and antique association Lapada’s pop-up restaurant, taking place at its annual fair.

The company will be hosting the Event Oracle Brasserie for the duration of the event in Berkeley Square between 24 and 29 September.

Tom Lloyd Owen, director of Event Oracle, said: "Last year was our first year and we had an amazing time. We are quite a small company and to suddenly jump into doing 1,200 covers was quite a big step."

The four-year-old company is taking on an even bigger challenge for the 2013 event, with 5,000 people expected to come through the doors.

But it is not something that daunts Lloyd Owen and his partner, Buzzy Randall.

"Because we delivered such a good product last year and because we are such a small company, Lapada know that we will tackle it head on," said Owen.

Event Oracle will be providing breakfasts, formal lunches and dinners, as well as a deli-style bar and relaxed afternoon teas in the raised restaurant overlooking the Berkeley Square gardens.
