The team at the SECC in Glasgow have won the title of Venue Team of the Year for the second year running, thanks to their part in helping the campus achieve its most successful year to date.
Between them, 164 employees delivered 214 events that included exhibitions, conferences and live entertainment, welcoming a total of 2.4 million people to the three venues on the campus.
Co-ordinating events across those venues was no mean feat, so excellent teamwork and communication were essential.
Chief executive Peter Duthie made training and team development a priority, with regular training taking place for all staff across the campus.
As well as securing a long list of new events, such as the MTV EMA Awards, BBC Sports Personality of the Year and the Ryder Cup Gala Dinner, the team secured returning events such as the Ideal Home Show, Comic Con and BBC Good Food for another year.
The SECC was also awarded the title of Best Space at this year's Event Awards.
