Marshall is chief executive of Melville Event and Exhibition Services and has been on the board of ESSA since it was formed four years ago when BECA and the AEC merged.
"ESSA has made some important and impressive steps in representing the views and needs of its members, the work done by the association is invaluable to all members both large and small," said Marshall.
Steve Barratt, Martin Cottrell, Nick Marshall and David Wootton were re-elected back onto the ESSA board.
ESSA also launched its membership discount card which provides 15% to 20% discounts at numerous concessions within venues such as the NEC and the Business Design Centre.
