The top performers all managed to capture the attention of large and dedicated followings with their popular posts.
Unmetric, a social-media intelligence firm, uses an analytics platform to track brands with the highest amount of engagement for posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Unmetric’s engagement score rates each post from 0 to 1,000, depending on the amount of user interactions.
Here are the posts that reached an engagement score of 900-1,000:

The fast food chain tweeted out a picture of a sauce-filled heart and the phase "you are filled with determination." The tweet received 9,800 likes and 4,800 retweets. The brand is known for its cheeky posts and has 672,000 followers. In reply to this tweet, one commenter wrote, "Arby’s, have I ever told you I love your social media? Because I love it so much. Makes my day."
The tourism brand Margaretville took advantage of annual "Talk Like a Pirate Day" on September 19. In a Facebook post that generated 25,000 reactions, 50,100 shares and 897 comments, Margaritaville posted a meme of a pirate flag on a beach with words encouraging followers to be pirates. On Facebook, the brand has 671,502 followers.
In an Instagram post that got 178,000 likes, Lamborghini celebrated its use of carbon fiber in the sports car for the past 30 years. In the post, the brand announces that it will work with Mitsubishi Rayon to continue to perfect manufacturing automation. The brand has an impressive amount of followers on Instagram at 4.6 million.
On Instagram, GoPro has 10.3 million followers, and with the brand being all about cameras, its posts showcase stunning photography. This Instagram post garnered 367,000 likes and 2,434 comments. It’s a photo of two people dangling off helicopter landing skids, holding on for dear life before they plummet back down to Earth. That is, skydivers preparing to have an awesome adventure.
Fall is arguably Starbuck’s most popular season due to its trendy Pumpkin Spice Latte menu item. This year, however, Starbucks has introduced a new option—the Chile Mocha. In this Instagram post, the brand mixes its new Chile Mocha flavor with its White Chocolate Mocha, and positioned the coffee in the middle of orange fall leaves. The brand received 321,000 likes and 728 comments. At 11.4 million, Starbucks has the highest amount of followers out of this group.
