Ebiquity has promoted Nick Pugh to managing director of UK and Ireland, and Laetitia Zinetti to the same role overseeing continental Europe.

Both territories had been overseen by Mauricio Barange, who is retiring, for the past three years.

Pugh, who previously headed Ebiquity’s advanced analytics practice in the UK, takes up his new role on 1 July.

The company credits him with developing its algorithmic approaches to marketing analytics, recruiting and developing data science and analytics capabilities, spearheading its employee diversity programme and leading relationships with clients including Arla, Ferrero and Krispy Kreme.

Both Pugh and Zinetti, who takes up her role on 1 June, will report to Ebiquity global president Richard Basil-Jones.

Basil-Jones said: "Nick and Laetitia’s appointments reflect the significant evolution that Ebiquity’s services have undergone. Ebiquity is far more than just media performance measurement and these appointments represent a significant step towards delivering on our vision of becoming the leading global strategic media and marketing advisors to CMOs."
