EasyJet's press ad explains the airline's eco-savvy decision.
Following its announcement that it would offset carbon emissions from all flights globally, easyJet launched a print ad outlining its plans for the future. Written over a picturesque sunrise, the ad begins: "At 05:20 this morning EJU5841 took to the skies and made history," hailing the brand’s status as the first major airline to operate net-zero carbon emission flights across its fleet.
EasyJet goes on to acknowledge that offsetting "isn’t perfect" but is "the best option today".
"Flight EJU5841" ran in the Evening Standard, alongside radio and social activities across nine markets. It was created by Dan Glover-James, Elias Torres and David Masterman.
