Parton transformed her song into an anthem for entrepreneurs making their dreams come true after hours in the Super Bowl spot.
In its Super Bowl spot, Squarespace teamed up with Dolly Parton to rework her 1980 smash hit "9 to 5" into "5 to 9," an ode to entrepreneurs hustling after hours to make their dreams come true. In the clip, a drab office comes to life with color at 5 p.m. when the crew starts working on their passion projects. "Working 5 to 9, you've got passion and a vision, Cuz it's hustlin' time, whole new way to make a livin'. You got dreams, and you know they matter, Be your own boss instead of climbin' that ladder," Parton sings. "La La Land" director Damion Chazelle directed the colorful spot. "Make your 5 to 9 full time," the tagline reads.
