The Mexican soft drink brand celebrates immigrants of all backgrounds with a touching spot from WALO
The rhetoric of the presidential campaign has inspired a "backlash" of friendly, inspiring stories. Now, the Mexican soft drink brand Jarritos is weighing in with an ode to "the immigrants that make the U.S. great." The 90-second short film by Dallas agency WALO is directed by "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" star Diego Luna. Though Jarritos is a Mexican brand, the spot features immigrants of all backgrounds, including farm workers, Orthodox Jews and archival footage of Ellis Island arrivals. English and Spanish versions of the film are running on social channels and at a dedicated microsite for the campaign.
