Deutsche Telekom "Sea Hero Quest" by Saatchi & Saatchi

Deutsche Telekom has put its name to a mobile game that feeds players' progress to University College London, which is collating the data to use in research for dementia treatments.

Saatchi & Saatchi was the agency behind the game, in which the player controls a young explorer who sails the globe to find missing pages from their father’s journal – and the key to his memories. The game tests spatial navigation and sends the results to UCL, as well as the wider scientific community, in an attempt to understand one of the first symptoms of dementia.
