Desperados stages messy house party with no clean-up

Tequila-infused beer brand helps people bring party ideas to life.

Desperados, the Heineken-owned brand, has staged a house party that encouraged mess without bothering the host as part of its year-long experiential campaign "Epic parties imagined by you".

The campaign gives people the chance to bring their elaborate party ideas to life and kicked off with one that turned guests’ phones into a lighting rig.

This time, Desperados helped German DJ and producer Pretty Pink stage a party with walls protected by a material that would subsequently be repurposed as loudspeakers by sustainable design studio Gomi.

Pretty Pink said: "I love playing music for my friends and hosting parties, but I worry about the mess, which then impacts the vibe. So the idea for the party that left no mess came from feeling restricted at my own house parties. Desperados allowed me to let go and live in the moment, and I was actually able to DJ throughout the night and encourage people to throw paint everywhere!"
