Dentsu Aegis Network has named its Northern Europe CEO Rob Horler its new US CEO.
In the newly created role, Horler reports to Nigel Morris, CEO of the Dentsu Aegis Network, Americas and EMEA.
Horler will assume the role in April and relocate to New York.
Horler joined the business as managing partner of Carat Interactive in London 2000. He went on to found digital media agency Diffiniti, which became part of the iProspect network in 2009.
He rose through the ranks, becoming managing director of Carat UK in 2008 and was promoted to CEO for Aegis Media UK in 2011. Horler assumed his current role as CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Northern Europe in 2013.
Horler's role in Europe will not be replaced directly. Thierry Jadot, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network France will take on responsibility for the oversight of the network in the Netherlands. Meanwhile, Tracy de Groose, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network UK will take on additional management responsibility for Dentsu Aegis Network Ireland and will join the Dentsu Aegis EMEA Executive Board.
Horler will retain his responsibility for the ongoing global development of Dentsu Aegis’ iProspect and Data2Decisions brands.
