Delivery is a lifeline for South Side restaurant in new DoorDash documentary

One in three US restaurants could permanently close this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many are relying on delivery and takeout to stay alive. A new documentary short from DoorDash by The Martin Agency and director Rodney Lucas, called "Southside Magnolia," brings this reality home through the story of Krazy Hog BBQ, a beloved Black family-owned eatery in Chicago's South Side. The Cooksey family made the tough decision to shut down Krazy Hog during the pandemic, but were able to reopen with the help of delivery services like DoorDash.
