Dad breaks down the 'bums and the bees' to adult son

The CDC PSA, created by Ogilvy DC, emphasizes the importance of colorectal cancer screenings.

The birds and the bees talk is an awkward rite of passage, but health conversations don’t stop after puberty.

In "The Bums and the Bees," a father tries to teach his 45-year-old son about the importance of colorectal cancer screenings. His son thinks dad is launching into a sex talk, but the conversation takes an unexpected turn. "Your mother and I have done it and we’re happy to tell you all about it," the father says, handing his son a brochure. His son is relieved when he realizes it's a pamphlet on colorectal cancer screenings. "You could have started with this," he says.
