The first game of the 2014 World Series saw the rollout of a new ad by Spike Lee DDB for Chevrolet that features a baseball star who may very well appear in a future World Series: 13-year-old Mo'ne Davis.
Davis made history earlier this year as the first girl to throw a shutout in the Little League World Series. Director Spike Lee created a 60-second commercial with her, and in a voiceover Davis says that she stands for all girls who want to play with the boys.
"I throw 70 miles per hour," she says. "That’s throwing like a girl."
Lee also created a separate 16-minute documentary about Davis. View it below.
