Chanel has created an experiential butterfly garden in Selfridges, London, to promote its summer range of make-up and beauty products.

The pop-up will be open to the public until 18 June on the ground floor of the Oxford Street department store.

The installation has been decorated with pastel and peach paper flowers, an outdoor swing and faux grass carpeting to create the atmosphere of a summer garden.

Guests can browse the fashion house’s selection of new season make-up looks on iPads installed onto make-up displays, before choosing between a festival, beach or party look for their free complimentary makeover.

A manicure with celebrity nail technicians such as Steph Mendola can also be booked in advance every Wednesday within the garden.
