Carrabba's Italian Grill convinces fans to devour pretend pasta

Fitzgerald & Co creates silly, interactive website for National Lasagna Day

Restaurant chain Carrabba’s Italian Grill unveiled a new microsite that allows lasagna fans to chow down virtually. Timed with National Lasagna Day on Friday, the site from Atlanta agency Fitzgerald & Co promotes the restaurant’s buy-one, get-one lasagna deal. Site users can film themselves with their webcam or smartphone miming large bites taken from a casserole the size of their head. The onscreen dish disappears with each pretend bite. Users can save the experience as a .gif to share or enter for a chance to win a trip to the Sonoma Valley for a wine tour.
