MMA champion gets in the ring for Carl's Jr. breakfast sandwich
Carl's Jr. brand "evolution" has gone from a seemingly naked model in a regional Super Bowl spot, a bikini clad model eating an artery-clogging burger topped with potato chips and a hot dog, sexualized burger ingredients set to "Thus Spoke Zarathustra," and now this.
The latest installment by 72andSunny features MMA fighter Ronda Rousey. The fighter is pound-for-pound the top female MMA athlete and fourth best worldwide overall.
Rousey, who previously appeared in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition, is seen eating a breakfast sandwich. It's either a parody or inspired by athletic wear ads for brands such as Under Armour.
The release bills the breakfast sandwich as having "a knockout meal featuring breakfast favorites eggs and meat, sandwiched between two sweet, delicious Cinnamon Swirl French Toast slices." Joining these delicious ingredients is 48% of recommended daily sodium intake and 80% of advised cholesterol consumption.
