The activity, which was planned and bought by Manning Gottlieb OMD, aims to promote Lastminute.com's spa and pampering offers as consumers look to start the new year with a health kick.
The week long promotion, starting tomorrow, will use the taglines "Detox and pamper yourself with Lastminute.com" and "Lie back and think of nothing this new year". The ads were made by Global Radio's in-house team.
In addition to the trails and promos, listeners will have the chance to win one of four spa breaks for four people and visitors to Capitalfm.com with have the chance to win an additional spa day for two.
The Capital network launched on Monday (3 January) and now includes stations in Scotland, North East, Yorkshire, Manchester, Birmingham, East Midlands, South Wales and South Coast as well as the orginal 95.8 Capital FM in London.
Global Radio announced plans to rebrand its Galaxy network and three midlands stations to create a national Capital network in September last year, having previously reduced the number of separate stations in its Heart and Gold networks.
A spokeswoman for Global Radio said Lastminute.com has previously worked with Global on the Galaxy stations, as well as 95.8 Capital FM, and wanted to be the first brand to use the combined audience of the new Capital network.
