Dove’s "Courage Is Beautiful" campaign compiled images of doctors and nurses with PPE outlines indented into their faces. The images, captured by Italian photographer Alberto Giuliani, spotlighted frontline workers’ bravery at the height of the pandemic. "Courage is beautiful," the tagline reads.
The campaign was selected as the Grand Prix winner in the Print and Publishing category at Cannes Lions.
