They’re a multi-talented lot at AMV BBDO – and we all know that anyway. But the skills of creative Oli Frost had the nation gasping in delight when he made an appearance on Britain’s Got Talent at the weekend. Frost – aka as Recorda Boi – thrilled the audiences with his accompaniment to contemporary hits (well Ice Ice Baby and The Real Slim Shady) on his golden recorder. Sadly the judges weren’t as impressed and he was knocked out – but all credit to him for developing this instrument of primary school nightmares beyond eternal round robins of London’s Burning
Last week’s Media360 saw the industry’s finest media thinkers descend on Brighton to discuss the big issues of the day – while also enjoying some seaside sunshine. Aside from discussing the future agency model and how the ad industry should brace itself for Brexit, the Sainsbury’s marketing director Mark Given managed to win a bet that he couldn’t get the words "cheese twists" into his session on voice technology.
