Selfridges opens its Christmas store 143 days early

The department store has cleared out 3,000 square feet of space and given it over to Christmas gifts and decorations, including 60,000 baubles. The retailer's head buyer said it acted on consumer demand.

The famous store opened launched its Christmas range early in 2014 also, in a bid to tap into demand of overseas travellers looking to buy in London. In autumn, as the festive season gets in full swing, it will double floor space for the range.

Cristiano Ronaldo storms out of interview when asked about Fifa corruption

The football megastar abruptly ended an interview with CNN in Spain after he was asked if he was concerned about corruption allegations in Fifa and controversy over Qatar.

Ronaldo agreed to the interview to promote his new range of headphones, but was furious after being asked if the controversy concerned him or other players behind closed doors.

He said conversations among the players revolve around "music, about women, about fashion, about shoes, about suitcases/bags, about jewellery, about haircuts."

"I don't care about Fifa. And Qatar...I don't give a f**k," he told the reporter before storming out.

Apple reportedly testing a service that transcribes your voicemails as text messages

According to reports, Apple is testing new service that allows Siri to transcribe your voicemail and send it to you as a text message in a move that could eliminate the need to ever call to listen to your voicemail again.

According to Business Insider, the new service, set to be introduced in 2016, will enable Siri to answer a call rather than have it go unanswered and then relay information back to the caller about where you are and why you can't answer the phone. It can then send any messages from the caller to the phone via text, which is a lot faster to read than listening to a standard voicemail.
