Award-winning author Chimamanda Adichie has become the new face of Boots' No7 make-up.
In the brand's TV ad, Adichie explains she used to worry that she wouldn't be taken seriously if she wore make-up and high heels. But then she "woke up", stopped being a "false version" of herself and began wearing whatever made her happy.
The ad is part of the brand's "Ready" campaign that launched earlier this year. The new ad rolls out on 21 October across TV, outdoor, online and print.
